Why this website was created

Donna

"I have aphasia. This website explains. It answers questions from people like me."

A lot of people use the internet to get information about health and illnesses.

But people with aphasia say it is often difficult to find and understand information on the Internet.

This is sometimes because of the way websites are designed and the type of information they give.

We made this website to demonstrate that information can be accessible to people with aphasia.

We want to find out if people with aphasia can use the Internet to communicate with each other and share experiences and stories.
