Neurological examination
A neurologist may examine you to check how your brain has been affected by the stroke.
The examination may involve:
- asking you some questions
- checking whether you can follow a moving object with your eyes
- seeing how much you can move and use your arms and legs
- see if your stroke has changed your sensitivity to touch
